Development and Tax Insight (ARCO x Savills & Grant Thornton)

ARCO Members are invited to join ARCO and Savills for a special session on Development and Tax. We will be joined by Tax experts, Grant Thornton, who will be providing Members with insights into;

- SDLT and VAT considerations on the acquisition of bare land/options over land interests
- Development phase tax considerations including VAT recoverability and land remediation relief
- Tax considerations on leases
- Ongoing tax considerations – tax-deductible items and reliefs including management fees/services charges, Corporate Interest Restrictions, Capital Allowances
- Exit considerations, in particular, the tax treatment of ‘event fees’
