Join ARCO Member HR Leads to discuss the latest topics facing Integrated Retirement Community operators
The focus for the next HR Working Group session will be to cover updates to the Employment Rights Act, with particular attention given to the third-party harassment changes for employers. We're delighted to confirm that we will be joined by Laura Welchew, Partner at Trowers & Hamlins LLP.
Laura works in the Trowers & Hamlins Employment and Pensions team and will be on hand to take members through the changes and implications of the third-party harassment and give guidance on what operators can do to ensure they are equipped to deal with this within their organisations. As part of the session Laura will also cover other areas of the ERA and be on hand to answer any questions.

Laura Welchew
Partner, Employment and Pensions - Trowers & Hamlins LLP
Laura specialises in all aspects of employment law acting for a wide range of public and private sector employers. Laura regularly acts for respondents in complex and valuable tribunal claims. Laura advises on all employee relations matters including disciplinary and grievance issues, sickness absence, capability issues, restructures and redundancies and employment contracts.
Laura has experience of advising charities on governance compliant termination payments, various matters arising out of the Working Time Regulations such as sleep-ins and on call rotas and complex trade union issues including difficult consultation and de-recognition processes.
