ARCO Working Group
This bi-monthly operational forum is exclusive to ARCO Members
The key developments in UK immigration & what employers need to know
Immigration prospects for the care communities have significantly diminished following the announcement of the Immigration White Paper and subsequent legislative changes from July 2025. The Home Office’s response no doubt aims at reducing exploitation and abuse reported in the care sector yet skills shortages remain a challenge.
The UK’s Government strategy is to end reliance on lower-skilled overseas recruitment and encourage domestic training, so it is imperative organisations are prepared for the cessation of recruitment under the Health and Care worker visa.
Sally Ireland, ARCO's Director of Legal and Compliance, will be joined by expert speakers from Bevan Brittan LLP, Tijen Ahmet, Legal Director and Sheetal Gaur, Senior Associate; Amanda Clarke, HR Director at Augustinian Care - St George's Park, will also join this forum to provide the ARCO Member perspective.
who will take us through the evolving and challenging immigration law landscape and what the changes mean for organisations who provide independent and assisted living.
