ARCO and Strategic Partner, Trowers & Hamlins are delighted to invite you to join a webinar which will focus on the Leasehold and Freehold Bill which is due to receive its second reading in the House of Lords. We anticipate that the Bill will reach its final form in late April and this webinar will cover the key impacts of the Leasehold and Freehold Bill on the Integrated Retirement Community sector, including:
- Leasehold house ban - how will the retirement exemption work?
- Service charge reforms - how increased regulation will affect the sector (e.g. event fees)
- Enfranchisement and right to manage - is the risk real?
- Lease extensions - valuation reform
- Ground rent consultation
Speakers:
Director of Legal & Compliance, Sally Ireland, will be joined by Trowers & Hamlins’ Partners Kyle Holling, Lizzie Pillinger and Doug Rhodes to unpack what the Bill means for operators of IRCs and help to answer any questions from ARCO Members.
