Member workshop on key trends, opportunities and growth in the Integrated Retirement Community sector

This workshop is for ARCO Members, Accelerators and Strategic Partners only.

This workshop is aimed at operational, development and design employees of ARCO members and will focus on infection prevention and control (IPC) in Integrated Retirement Communities post Covid-19.

 

Workshop Agenda:

10:30am Welcome & introductions

10:35am Review of IPC over the past 2 years – setting the scene, e.g. way that IRCs managed to keep people safe during pandemic

10:40am Lessons from the pandemic - discussion and Q&A with Jeremy Walford, Middleton Hall and Philippa Fieldhouse, Richmond Villages. 

  • What have IRC Operators learnt from the last 2 years and how have they adapted to make residents safe?
  • What changes and adaptations have we permanently implemented going forwards
  • How can IRC operators build infection control into architecture and design; technology; training and workforce strategy; resident relations?
  • Invite other members on the call to share/contribute

11.10am - Designing for the future – IPC considerations from the architects perspective – Wendy Griffin, nicol Thomas

11.30am - Living with Covid: an update – Sally Ireland, Head of Regulation & Compliance, ARCO

11.45am – Final Discussion / Questions
