Join ARCO for a digital workshop themed around wellbeing in Retirement Communities
We are already aware of the many benefits living in a Retirement Community can bring to people's lives; from increased physical activities and facilities available to the opportunity of making friends with like-minded people, thus reducing feelings of loneliness and social isolation.
Resident and owner wellbeing is central to the Retirement Community service offer and this workshop will bring together expertise and experience from across the Membership to share best practice, new ideas and explore how we can monitor wellbeing to help promote the Retirement Community model.
Guest speakers:
We are delighted to have two guest speakers joining us for the workshop:
Steph Thompson, Deputy Director of My Home Life will be joining at the top of the session to give a short presentation about the My Home Life programme and we will explore whether there could be any cross over for Retirement Communities.
Dr Zoe Wyrko, Well-being Director, Riverstone Living will be joining us following her recent appointment at Riverstone. As well as sharing more about her background working in the health and care of older people, Zoe will be talking about her new role at Riverstone and why she has made the move to the Retirement Community sector.
This workshop is aimed at Operational colleagues or those involved in wellbeing programmes and strategy and is open to all ARCO Members, Accelerators and Strategic Partners to attend.
