Our guest speaker for this month’s briefing is Jane Ashcroft, CBE, Chief Executive of Anchor Hanover Group and ARCO’s very own Vice Chair. Jane will be talking about the exciting recent merger of Anchor Hanover with a focus on what the retirement community offering was under each separate operator, how it will be managed and grow in future. Jane will also be giving her valuable insight on how she sees the wider social care market evolving over the coming years.
Further topics will include updates from Michael Voges on relevant policy developments and sector trends, including the NHS Long Term Plan, the Social Care Green Paper, planning policy and ‘the word that shall not be spoken’ (it starts with a B and ends in ‘exit’!).
Shandi Petersen will be providing a preview of how ARCO’s work on the Vision 2030 will expand our sector offering over the coming years and there will also be the chance to meet new members of the ARCO team including Ellie Pyemont, ARCO’s new Head of Membership & Operations.
The session will conclude at 4.45pm where there will be the chance to network with colleagues over drinks.
