You’ve heard of Government White Papers and Green Papers. Now ARCO is delighted to invite you to the launch of a special ‘Housing with Care Grey Paper’ on Monday 22 March from 2:00-3:00pm, featuring personal stories and policy ideas from a range of MPs, Peers, and civil society and private sector leaders.
Each of the Grey Paper’s fourteen expert contributors has written about their own and their family’s experiences of housing and care and made one concrete policy suggestion to help strengthen housing-with-care for older people.
Authors include Damian Green MP, Bob Blackman MP, Dr. Lisa Cameron MP, Baroness Sally Greengross OBE, Lord Foulkes, Lord Shipley, Jane Ashcroft CBE, Nick Sanderson, Phil Bayliss, David Fothergill, Chandra McGowan, Les Mayhew, Jeremy Porteus and Philippa Fieldhouse.
The launch event will be chaired by ARCO’s Executive Director, Michael Voges, and will include an excellent panel of:
- Bob Blackman, Conservative MP for Harrow East and Member of the Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee
- Lord Foulkes, Labour Peer and former MP, MSP and Director of Age Concern Scotland
- Jane Ashcroft CBE, Chief Executive of Anchor Hanover and Vice-Chair of ARCO
- Les Mayhew, Head of Global Research at the International Longevity Centre UK and Professor of Statistics at the Business School (formerly Cass), City University, London
