Virtual Experience

Conference

Ageing Science | Ageing Well | Longevity Risk

In response to global social distancing in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Longevity Leaders World Congress is going virtual and will now take place 19-22 May 2020.

The situation that the world finds itself in right now offers a wealth of unforeseen challenges, and even some positives, for the longevity sector. It's more important than ever that we address the urgent impact of how we age and how we cater for an ageing society.

In practice the virtual event will include a mix of live and on-demand content across four days and available for 30 days. There will also be debates, workshops, 121 meetings and networking. Don’t think of it as a physical event but online, think of it as a brand-new virtual experience.

All of the original content planned for the Longevity Leaders World Congress will be available, in addition to critical new topic areas to suit a dramatically changed world.

These include the application of actuarial science to modelling COVID-19 and its impact on ageing populations, capturing community spirit from the crisis to better serve ageing individuals in the future, the rapid acceleration of changing workplace practices and what this means for the ageing workplace and pensions investment in the wake of economic downturn.

The Longevity Leaders Virtual event takes place 19-22 May 2020. Full details are available at www.longevityleaders.com
