Retirement Communities 101 Session

At ARCO, we are delighted that our Affiliate Network continues to grow year on year, going from strength to strength with new members joining us to form a strong and influential voice for the retirement community sector. We also recognise that our sector can sometimes be a bit baffling and a little daunting, but at ARCO, it is important that we are there to support and inform new organisations entering into the ARCO family.

At this event, the expert ARCO team will be on hand to guide you through the sector's tricky terminology, give an overview of the different types of retirement community (including urban, rural rented and private) and explain the crucial elements that set retirement communities apart from retirement housing and care homes. ARCO's Executive Director, Michael Voges will also give a valuable overview of underlying business models used within the sector.
