The final deadl ine for the UK's telephone digital switchover is < strong>31 January 2027. By this da te\, all traditional analogue phone lines (PSTN an d ISDN) will be permanently switched off and repla ced with digital\, broadband-based services.

In Integrated Retirement Communities\, the digital switchover can affect not only tel ephony but also emergency call systems\, ongoing m onitoring\, door entry\, life-critical safety syst ems and many other parts of IRC infrastructure. IRC operators should ensure that they have a plan in place to be switchover-ready by 31 Janua ry.
