London is home to the largest older LGBTQ+ population in th e UK\, yet their housing needs and experiences con tinue to be widely overlooked. Recent research has highlighted clear inequalities — from discriminat ion and a lack of inclusive housing options\, to l imited accessible information for those making lat er-life housing decisions.

Tonic Housi ng is delighted to invite you to the official laun ch of two new practical resources\, an infographic and a guidebook\, created through the Making Safe Housing Choices project. This was a collaborative project between The University of Surrey\, The Un iversity of Hertfordshire\, Tonic Housing\, Stonew all Housing\, housing policy makers and organisati ons and older LGBTQ+ Londoners. This event marks t he culmination of extensive community engagement a nd celebrates the voices that shaped these resourc es from the ground up.

The event will showcase the guidebook and infographic\, which are designed to support older LGBTQ+ people in naviga ting housing decisions with confidence and dignity . Join us to explore these resources\, hear from t hose involved in its creation and help us share it with the communities who need it most.
